After reading a few of the reviews on Palace Herbal Spa, I felt like it was necessary for me to contribute my Review. I've been in back pain for 30+ years, two back surgeries, which did not help me. I've been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 7 years ago. I've tried every modality and form of western treatments including alternative therapies like acupuncture, acupressure. No other form or treatment, which includes very strong prescription drugs  work nearly as well as massage. I've tried everyone in town and belonged to Massage xxxx (BOOOO!). Palace Herbal Spa is the ONLY place, I've found that can Consistently perform well, regardless of who I get, that can help me achieve less pain, more relaxation and overall better health and clarity of mind. However, I am not shy nor timid in explaining to every therapist I get, Every Time to do what I think is important. That way, they can focus on what I want as well as do what they think is necessary. I think that people don't realize How much pain they're in until someone else touches them, then they say, OUCH! YOU hurt me, when in fact we should have been taking care of ourselves better in the first place. Having a massage when I am not in pain is a far different cry than from when I am. Being in pain, so often, I feel that I am very sensitive to painful stimuli as a result of my own doing when I was younger.  Massage should feel good yes, but we are quite literally asking them to remove our pains and make us feel good,INSTANTLY not considering what we have done to our bodies, regarding injuries, inflammation, arthritis etc. We need to be more responsive and communicate what we need for everything we encounter! Also, taking a long hot bath, shower or especially the hot tub, have helped my body continue to wind down and stay relaxed After an appointment. Otherwise, the body will begin to make more inflammation in response to the massage.
